Playtime Gaming Inc. is a private company that owns and operates seven gaming facilities in BC. They needed a marketing company in British Columbia to provide marketing research, marketing strategy and an effective marketing campaign for their newly renovated Courtenay Casino. An integrated marketing and communications strategy was created and the memorable and innovative “Redefining Entertainment” campaign was launched.

MARKETING CHALLENGE: The client of our marketing company had just completed a full renovation of the casino to include more slots machines and a RED21 Gaming Bar + Grill and needed to market the casino to a younger demographic that wanted an entertainment option in the local community.
MARKETING STRATEGY: NEXT Marketing Company in Vancouver performed marketing undercover in the community (marketing research) to determine what the perception of the casino was to all target audiences, create Marketing Action Plan (MAP) outlining specific messaging and positioning, create Media Plan for integrated campaign.
MARKETING SOLUTION: NEXT Marketing Company in Vancouver creatively developed Ready for NEW Entertainment? integrated campaign that launched in radio, newsprint daily and community, tourist guides, social media, online advertising. Created a VIP Program to convert Community Influencers to become ambassadors by recommending the casino experience as THE Entertainment option in Courtenay. This program enabled the client to effectively track conversion and behaviours in the community.
