  • Sandy Gerber

    Sandy Gerber

    What does she do? Sandy is the NEXT Founder and the Marketing Strategist extraordinaire!

    What makes her qualified to work with you? Since 1992 Sandy Gerber has been helping some of the largest Canadian companies to attract and retain their clients by developing top marketing solutions.

    What’s her “huh!”?: Sandy has a bunch of “huhs!” which you can read about in the Gerber Goods, but most don’t know that she is also a published poet!

  • Saralyn Nickerson

    Saralyn Versteeg, Marketing Manager

    What does she do? Saralyn is a NEXT Project Manager, sometimes called Sandy’s “Mini-me.”

    What makes her qualified to work with you? As a Marketing Manager, Saralyn works closely with the Marketing Strategist to implement the client’s marketing strategy set in place with team members, designers, developers and strategic partners. Over the past two years, she has experienced a diverse array of NEXT client projects and always ensures their successful execution.

    What’s her “huh!”?: Saralyn was a competitive figure skater for the British Columbia/Yukon team and competed throughout Western Canada.

  • Lynn Osler

    Lynn Osler, Marketing Assistant

    What does she do? Lynn plays a key role in working with the Marketing Strategist and Marketing Manager on client deliverables and timelines. Lynn is the first voice you hear when linking together with NEXT Marketing.

    What makes her qualified to work with you? Lynn has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Simon Fraser University with a minor in Dialogue.

    What’s her “huh!”?: Lynn has been skiing since she was three years old and has skied on race teams. She dreams of one day skiing the Swiss alps.

    Allison Cousins, Creative Designer

    What does she do? Allison is an amazing asset to our team, she is an incredible designer and owner of REX Image.

    What makes her qualified to work with you? Allison is remarkable in the creative strategy process and her designs are unique and highly effective. She has an incredible history of design including over ten years of extensive print experience and vast corporate identity and website designs.

    What’s her “huh!”?: Allison was the reigning “Little Miss Capilano Mall” in 1999.

  • Erin Anderson

    Erin Anderson, Creative Designer

    What does she do? Erin is Partner and Creative Designer at Kennedy Anderson Creative Group.

    What makes her qualified to work with you? Erin has over 10 years of experience in public relations, marketing and design. She builds creative, strategic and effective solutions for brand and identity projects, corporate communications, marketing materials, book design, web, and writing projects.

    What’s her “huh!”?: At the age of 20, Erin was hired as the first female to ever operate a hydraulic tractor lawn mower for the City of Abbotsford.

  • Justin Baker

    Justin Baker, Creative Designer

    What does he do? Justin is a senior creative designer and the owner of Justin Baker Designs.

    What makes him qualified to work with you? Justin has worked as a lead creative designer and marketing strategist in major Vancouver advertising agencies. He has also designed creative for some very well known resort properties in North America.

    What’s his “huh!”?: Justin builds scale aircrafts with remote controls.

  • Stacey Cordoni

    Stacey Cordoni, Lead Developer

    What does she do? Lead Developer who builds amazing websites!

    What makes her qualified to work with you? Stacey is a web developer in Vancouver, B.C. with an honours certificate in web technology from BCIT. She has been building websites since 1997 and specializes in WordPress, CSS, XHTML, HTML, 4.01 & HTML5

    What’s her “huh!”?: We are still waiting to uncover it, we expect to discover it at the NEXT Team Social!

  • Rob Stocks

    Rob Stocks, Ecommerce Strategist

    What does he do? Rob is the owner of ideaLEVER Solutions Inc. and has developed ecommerce platforms for some of the biggest companies in North America.

    What makes him qualified to work with you? Rob is an ecommerce veteran with extensive experience activating some of North America’s largest businesses stores online. He is an amazing team leader, incredible role model for successful customer service and a business owner with both technical and business acumen.

    What’s his “huh!”?: Rob had a green mohawk in high school and put on punk rock shows in Edmonton.

    Leif Jason, Internet Marketing & SEO Strategist

    What does he do? Leif is the owner of Mastermynde Mediaworks

    What makes him qualified to work with you? Leif’s distinguished track record in Internet Marketing, SEO, web design and web development enables Mastermynde to craft customized solutions to maximize clients’ web presence and re-energize their business and brand.

    What’s his “huh!”?: Leif likes cherry tomatoes better than cherries, except in pies.

  • Clare Hamilton-Eddy

    Clare Hamilton-Eddy, Public Relations

    What does she do? Clare is a Communications Consultant for top Vancouver PR agency, Peak Communicators.

    What makes her qualified to work with you? Clare is a media chameleon. She has half a decade of PR and event experience behind her including several years of working at a busy PR agency in London for interesting innovators and large corporates. She has also worked on the “other side” as a journalist so knows what makes the ultimate story.

    What’s her “huh!”?: Clare has played violin for Prince Charles. A privilege she’s hoping to repeat for Prince William!

    Marly Boorman, Merchandise & Promotions

    What does she do? Marly is the owner of Spark Ovations who continuously \’Sparks\’ bright promotional ideas that get our clients the standing \’Ovations.\’

    What makes her qualified to work with you? With more than 20 years experience in promotions, marketing and special events, Marly has extensive product knowledge – from corporate, trendy, traditional, to eco-friendly, she knows how to match your program and deliver quality, impactful promotional merchandise at the best prices.

    What’s her “huh!”?: Not many people know that Marly is a skilled quilter.

    Jackie Murdoch, Specialty Printing

    What does she do? Jackie is the Sales and Production Coordinator for FASTSIGNS Vancouver, the leading sign company in Western Canada.

    What makes her qualified to work with you? Jackie loves, lives and breathes signage! Nothing gives her more satisfaction than seeing the creativity and hard work of the FASTSIGNS team in a newly installed sign against our city skyline!

    What’s her “huh!”?: Jackie has been playing percussion for…well, let’s just say a long time. She has had the thrill of playing with many talented musicians over the years, both famous and the almost famous. If there is a jam happening, She’s there!

  • Jimmy Gray

    Jimmy Gray, Portable Displays

    What does he do? Jimmy the “Trade Show Guy” specializes in the creation of portable, hybrid & custom tradeshow displays. Jimmy has helped many businesses transform their brands into exhibits larger than life not only on the tradeshow floor, but in special events and retail settings. Custom signage, window/floor/wall graphics and retail kiosks are just some of the examples of what Jimmy can bring to the table.

    What makes him qualified to work with you? The quality of the team that backs Jimmy Gray brings true value to the client. With more than 30 years in production, The Portables is the largest Canadian exhibit / display manufacturer. Jimmy and his team’s ability to demonstrate attention to detail, understanding and communicating the many subtle nuances that define a project is the determining factor for many satisfied clients.

    What’s his “huh!”?: While attending high school, Jimmy won the Vancouver Championships in Pole Vaulting at a meet held in Swangard Stadium.

    Chris Anderson, Merchandise & Promotions

    What does he do? Helps clients achieve visibility, professionalism and value through branded apparel, promotional products, gifts and incentives as an owner of AdCentives.

    What makes him qualified to work with you? With over 10 years in the advertising specialty industry, the AdCentives team offers product knowledge and branding capabilities unrivaled in the industry. They are able to integrate each client’s individual image, message and budget into the most effective and innovative branded products and apparel.

    What’s his “huh!”?: As a member of the 1986 Penticton Knights Junior A hockey team, Chris scored one goal in the final game to win the Centennial Cup, and became the Canadian National Champions.

  • Jeni Bulcock

    Jeni Bulcock, Creative Designer

    What does she do? Jeni is a Freelance Graphic Designer with a love for photography and typography.

    What makes her qualified to work with you? Jeni has over 5 years experience and enjoys creating unique design solutions for a range of clients. Her work has been published by Desktop Magazine, The Australian Graphic Design Associated, and the Lonely Planet. She is always on the lookout for the next creative challange

    What’s her “huh!”?: Shoes and food are her two greatest weaknesses.

  • Kevin McLeod

    Kevin McLeod, Website Development

    What does he do? Kevin Builds websites and manages online marketing strategies for companies that want more phone calls, emails and walk-in customers.

    What makes him qualified to work with you? Kevin has worked in quality control management, operations, marketing and regional management. He has an MBA in Management of Technology from SFU and really enjoys working with small and medium-sized business owners – some of the most passionate and interesting people in Canada.

    What’s his “huh!”?: Kevin loves wine and is working on a game changing iPhone application called WinePeer.

  • Rod Sawatsky

    Rod Sawatsky, Creative Designer

    What does he do? Generalist graphic designer and owner of Rod Sawatsky Graphic Design. Rod has specialized skills in hand lettering, 3D Product visualization and image retouching.

    What makes him qualified to work with you? Rod has over 15 years of experience serving loyal clients with small to large sized companies. His patience in client relations, creative solutions, and detailed execution has allowed him to build his business on referrals. He has a depth of experience in print, packaging, and display graphics that enables him to communicate both beautifully and effectively. That last 10% that sets apart the good from the great is his constant horizon and sees him putting in the extra effort that some will never notice.

    What’s his “huh!”?: Rod grew up in tropical Africa (Congo) where his imagination was fueled by pet monkeys, snakes, giant beetles, and insect collections.

    Bryan Mitten, Digital Strategist

    What does he do? Bryan is the owner of Dog Park Digital Inc. which specializes in the integration of digital and traditional marketing channels, creating campaigns and ongoing marketing practices that lead to tangible results.

    What makes him qualified to work with you? Bryan is one of the most experienced digital marketers in the country. With over a decade in the industry, Bryan has been there since the beginning, constantly evolving his skills in online advertising, search, email, ecommerce and more. His clients have ranged from the smallest startups to the biggest household names.

    What’s his “huh!”?: Bryan can drink incredibly fast. Superhero fast. As a kid, he won the root beer drinking contest by downing a pint in less than 8 seconds!

    Sandra Obsieger, Website Design & Development

    What does she do? Sandra is the co-owner of Mapleweb Creative Marketing Inc. which specializes in web design, graphic design, and Search Engine Optimization.

    What makes her qualified to work with you? Sandra and her team of talented designers develop their clients’ vision and bring it to life by creating websites and graphic images with style and finesse. Sandra has over 10 years experience in the IT industry, and incorporates her savvy communication and marketing skills when dealing with her clients.

    What’s her “huh!”?: The first vehicle Sandra drove was a forklift. She helped rebuild a car engine and worked in a machine shop operating a metal lathe and crankshift grinder.

    Kenton MacDonald-Lin, Commercial Media Storyteller

    What does he do? Kenton tells your stories through the power of digital media. He and his team at Kenton studios produce commercial video and photography to help you get your message and branding understood and recognized.

    What makes him qualified to work with you? Keeping up with the trends, Kenton helps clients integrate the use of their commercial imagery and videos so it gets noticed on-line. As a professional filmmaker and commercial photographer since 2001, Kenton has always been a team player who sides on producing authentic media that truly connects companies to their clients. He can direct, storyboard, and produce the ideal videos for your needs. He can lead or jump into a current project and produce “mouth watering” commercial photography, corporate headshots, and stock imagery.

    What’s his “huh!”?: He cant wait to get off his sabbatical from being an avid snowboarding sushi lover who also plays the drums.

  • Sue

    Sue Ward, Graphic Designer

    What does she do? Sue designs websites and print materials for small businesses, nonprofit organizations and corporations.

    What makes her qualified to work with you? For more than ten years, Sue has worked with clients to develop clear and concise marketing materials that not only promote their business, but help them stand out in their space. Her scope of work has included branding for small professional firms as well as education programs for global pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer. Sue is a Certified Graphic Designer, the official honourific of the Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC).

    What’s her “huh!”?: When not working on client directed work, she is working on developing her own designs for consumer products.
