Sandy fascinated by how the BREWT works
We (The NEXT Marketing Team) went to enjoy lunch out of the office today. We decided to change it up and go to lunch at the Rockford Grill in Vancouver, B.C. (which was delicious). Sandy ordered a green tea, and while she went to go powder her nose her tea arrived and we experienced a Marketing WOW!
The waitress gave us a quick ‘how-to’ on how to actually use this contraption. But when Sandy returned we thought we would let her figure it out on her own for a good laugh. Much to Sandy’s surprise (and after many puzzling minutes), we decided to cave and tell her how the BREWT™ works. The bottom of the device is pressure activated, so when you place the BREWT™ over your tea mug and press down lightly it automatically streams the tea out of the bottom and into the cup!
It seems wherever we go there is a Marketing WOW that shows how companies are creatively coming up with products that get people excited to use them. The company that created this inspirational device was able to turn the mundane activity of drinking a cup of tea into a fun experience that even WOWed our team of professional marketing consultants. What an excellent example of an experience marketing strategy.
A Canadian company called BREWT™ which is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba innovated this product. It looks like they are really revolutionizing the way loose leaf tea is made. Another clever marketing strategy was that they put their brand name on the actual BREWT™ product which piqued our curiosity enough that we looked it up after our team lunch. We read up on BREWT™ and found that this nifty brewer can also be used for coffee. The company has also created other products like the BREWTOGO™ a travel mug with a built in tea strainer and the BREWTESSO™ which is a machine that looks like an espresso maker, but is made specifically for steeping tea.
The concept of brewing tea has been around for centuries, but what makes these products a marketing WOW is that BREWT™ put a new twist on the perfect way to brew a quality cup of loose leaf tea whether you are at home, at a trendy restaurant or when you are on the go.
